Global Coal-Producing Nations’ Industry Associations Fully Back 2026 Global Coal Expo, Accelerating Its Internationalization
Against the backdrop of accelerating global energy transition and the coal industry’s shift toward intelligent, green, and high-quality development, the international cooperation network of the 2026 Global Coal Industry Expo, World Coal Science and Technology Innovation Conference and Global Coal Import & Export Conference (collectively referred to as the " Global Coal Expo") continues to expand and upgrade.Recently, the Expo Organizing Committee announced that seven authoritative international industry associations and institutions from Asia, Europe, and Oceania have confirmed their roles as international supporting organizations for the 2026 Global Coal Expo. With in-depth convergence of global coal industry forces, the Expo reaches a new height of internationalization, accelerating the formation of a new industrial cooperation landscape covering major coal-producing countries and consumer markets worldwide.
Scheduled to be held from June 10 to 12, 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre,the event is guided by the China National Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Coal Industry Sub-Council.It is co-hosted by the Energy Industry Committee of the China Institute for Innovation & Development Strategy and Shixin International Exhibition Group Co.,Ltd. The seven industry associations and institutions span three continents, all being highly influential authorities in the coal and energy sectors of their respective countries, covering major coal production bases and trade hubs worldwide.
Asia: Forging a New Pattern of Regional Energy Synergy
As the core hub of the global coal industry, the Global Coal Expo has established strategic cooperation with key industry associations across major Asian economies.
Indonesian Coal Mining Association:Founded in 1988 with over 160 member enterprises, it is a highly influential organization in Southeast Asia and the global coal sector.The association will organize a delegation of member enterprises, industrial chain institutions and experts to participate in the Expo, sharing updates on Indonesia’s coal industry, investment policies and market opportunities, and facilitating precise industry chain connectivity between China, Indonesia and the world.
Mongolian Coal Association:The leading authoritative organization for Mongolia’s coal industry, it plays a pivotal role in national industrial policy formulation, standard development and international cooperation.This partnership will further deepen China-Mongolia energy cooperation and trust, advancing cross-border energy collaboration to a deeper and more practical level.
Coal Producers Association of India (CPA):Bringing together major coal producers, equipment suppliers and technical service providers in India, it will inject real market demand and local development perspectives into the Expo.It will also build an efficient platform for Chinese coal equipment, cutting-edge technologies and industry standards to enter the Indian market, enabling two-way connectivity of industrial chain resources, technologies and markets between China and India.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, CCI:The most influential enterprise self-governing organization in Uzbekistan, with remarkable achievements in corporate trade expansion and introduction of technical equipment.Its participation will deepen connectivity between Central Asia’s coal industry and the Chinese market, expanding new horizons for energy cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Pakistan Coal Association:Has officially confirmed its role as an international supporting organization and will deeply participate in the organization and implementation of the Expo, jointly promoting coordinated development of the coal industry in South Asia.
Europe: Building a New Bridge for China-Europe Coal Industry Cooperation
The participation of the Polish Investment & Trade Agency PFR Group injects new industrial momentum from Central and Eastern Europe into the Expo. As a national-level economic promotion agency led by the Polish government, it will organize a delegation of high-quality enterprises from Poland’s coal industrial chain to exhibit,showcasing advanced achievements and experience in coal mining, clean utilization and technological innovation. It will also promote practical cooperation between China and Poland in coal technology R&D, industrial collaboration and resource complementarity.
